Default NOMAD TRAVEL RODS Went Extinct!

Okuma Sold The Nomad Name So No More Nomad Products From Okuma!

This really sadden me. Nomad travel rods were all well built and modestly priced. They were compact enough to either carry on the plane or place in my backpack. My 1st Nomad went to Tokyo, Bangkok, Phuket, Rawai, Singapore, Manilla, Cebu, Bohol, & back to Hawaii. It caught many fish on that 2-month trip to Asia & i gifted the fish caught to those that i did business with.

Okuma really is well known for their quality travel rods. The newest are the Voyagers. Also comes in a travel tube. I occasionally see a few on eBay, mostly used. They're going for 2-3x the original cost. And the used ones are going for the cost when they were new. I just took a few out to do this review. Then back they go into my storage bin hibernation. If you currently own one, cherish it. They're also "C" class rods as well.
