it's not about arsenic or lead or any heavy metals
the reason for the amount is for more data

and it is a nationwide survey. on all freshwater and salt water species that data can be obtained from

it's all forever chemicals. aka plastic nano sized beads
and the preliminary results show almost 100 percent freshwater species contamination

you got fish and game members here have them weigh in
one of the reason's it's on the down low is
what do you think public reaction would be if a public report came out and showed that almost every marine species in the NATION is toxic

your going to find out soon

this will lead you to other more recent links

If it's true that 100% of all freshwater are contaminated. (other then fish that just came out of a hatchery truck) I don't have a problem to fish with barbless and circle hooks. Then handling the fish with care, maybe a quick photo and then releasing all of them!

    heavy metal studies

not that of nano plastic contamination

which is a global problem in all water aquatic systems fresh or salt
