if you live in southern cal your only a few hours away from native trout

i grew up in the o.c here

hunting ducks ,quail and deer all in the o.c

all local and with destinated seasons
every friday whether it was the reg ,the times or the daily plot

there was a outdoor section
talking about local action


you want to hunt today

again only takes a couple of hours and your given opportunities

birds in the desert or wild turkeys in san diego

want to target farrow wild pigs or deer
lots of local opportunities
only need to drive out to riverside and san bernardino county's

as far as salt water goes every beach or shoreline gives you a shot a world record fish

so i don't see the too far or too expensive spin being valid

is it harder than going to a plant and catch pond
not always

but i would think the experience is still always better

and tuck you need to age the caribou meat so it's not green and it is almost as good as elk
