Mustad is an old World company that is renowned for producing some of the best fishing hooks known. For my jigging i sometimes replace the stock hooks with Mustad Assist Hooks if the original hooks are "flimsy" or it incorporates the colors needed for targeting my desired species. So i'm sharing some of my purchases to share my thinking process on why i switch out stock hooks on some of my jigs. Nothing wrong with enhancing your arsenal!
