Restricted equipment includes; private boats, canoes, kayaks, float tubes, trolling motors, fish finders, anchors, and other equipment that contacts the water.
The Lake will close on weekdays following Labor Day (Sept. 6th), as it does each year, re-opening in mid-December with the beginning of trout season. We will remain open on the weekends, but the park will be closed to visitors, and fishing, during the week.
Catfish can be caught throughout the lake, but are particularly active at either end. Lake Wohlford cats are most frequently caught using chicken liver, or cut mackerel.
