    Default Catalina and Offshore 8-23

Went out last Monday with Jaime and Robert. Got a couple scoops of sardines from Nachos and headed to Catalina Island. We tried several spots along the East end both frontside and back. Saw a few boils but didn't connect on anything except a batray. Decided to try offshore in the afternoon. Headed towards the 277 bank and found a few patties. The first two were dry but the third was jackpot. We caught 5 nice yellowtail and Jaime lost a nice dorado right at gaff. It shut down after that and we were unable to find any more holding. Tried back at the island again. Saw a few nice boils but could not get any bites except from sea lions which relentless at stealing our baits. Called it a day and headed in around 4pm. It was nice getting the boat out again I had to wait about 3 weeks to get it serviced, felt like 3 months!

Who's that bald dude that lost his hat!!!

Good hanging out with you and Jaime.
That dodo was looking real cool sporting the bright blue colors.
Weather was nice, got some fish & enjoyed the ribbing.

    Until next time Bro!
