    Default Bluefin being bluefin

Went out of San Diego last week for another shot at the bluefin. This time we found them some 30 miles west in US waters. The morning started off slow with not much life seen. Towards mid day we started seeing terns working and fish boiling. Most of the time we would try to get close and they would disappear before we could get into casting range. We got lucky with one stupid fish that got close enough to bite Ryan's sardine on 25 test. It was only a smaller model and he was able to get it in within a few minutes. We continued on throughout the day but weren't able to connect with anything else. One of those all-show no-go days! Typical bluefin being bluefin.

    Hey Bro!
All we could do was try.
...and try, and try, and try again!!!

Are you going to try for the local bite this week?
You guys should get out there.

I'll see you in a few weeks when I get back from Cabo.

    Take care,
    Robert
