Been visiting Cascade for a few these last few weeks and the water level continues to get lower and lower. It's crazy seeing it so empty.

You can even see the overturned car in the West Ramp.

There are sections of the bank that look firm, but one step and you'll be balls deep in mud. Be careful.

As far as the fishing? It's your typical Castaic summer bite. Lots of small bait out right now, with largies crashing them on the surface in the sticks and back of the 'coves' that are left, if you can even call them coves. Match the hatch and you'll be set. Noticing the fish pushing off main lake points when the sum comes up, so shore fishing can get tough during that time.
