Default Super slow day at the wood

Arrived at the wood at 0640, waited in line behind the only person that was as anxious as me, ranger rolled out early at 07:55, paid my $220.00 for the annual pass and fished until 13:30. Fished all around the lake including 4 hours at the spill way, NOTHING, there were 4 rental boats and 2 private boats at the bueys, none of us had any bites.
Headed to Perris tomorrow and hope to change my success rate,
Havent been on the water for over a month now, felt really good to get out there again!

I was there about a week ago and same. Trolled miller and cleghorn for 3 hours and not a strike. Also soaked crawlers and sardines for a bit with no love. Water level was definitely still down.

I saw your perris post where you mentioned the buoy line.
If they caught them inside the buoy line the water must have been running a little then? I think I will take off work Thursday and get trolling motor ready to go on Friday see what happens.
