Perris 12/18
Finished San Diego deep sea (yellow fin tuna & Dorado) ; so I thought I would give Perris Reservoir a try?
Arrived and launched at 7 AM. Beautiful crisp December morning 43 degrees air temperature about a dozen
empty trailers at the launch. The water lake level was at full pool and like glass. Headed out to east end to
try a umbrella rig with shad for the first time. The lake is amazing with hundreds of stick-ups and shrubs.
The surface water temp was 53 degrees when I got there and 56 degrees at 2 PM. Tried the new structure
(rock piles) with Senkos and drop-shot. The result was a little disappointing with nothing hitting. Tried
the south area at the white buoy line and managed one dink. Nice day on the water with 64 degrees with sun.
Tight lines and Happy Holidays
