My secret to fishing hesperia lakes,
Green or chartreuse pb, cast out 2-5 ft from shore ,thatís it.
If you sit and watch other anglers you can almost tell where the trout are at .
Like doing the wave at a ball game.
    Limited out within an hour.
    Pissed off the pros.
I donít fish the lake often but this need to launch a punker or super spook across it going to get me in trouble.
I had to force myself to put the rod in a holder and..........WAIT.....
This technique was given to me by another old timer in the area,it hasnít failed me yet.

Trout guts work good for hold over cats at Hesperia. There is a trench off the finger point near the island where they hang out. Break out your long rods and cast as close as you can to the island and hang on. I have caught them there with ice on the water, sometimes it would be so cold I would sit in the car and watch my rods with binoculars.

Hesperia water quality is very cloudy, longer leaders with a scent work best, and silver or gold color lures.
