    Default Perch and 1 Trout

We came up early on our annual trip which is normally mid-Oct, but due to different work schedules btwn my friends we settled with late Aug.
On the way up we made a detour off of Big Pine and fished the Owens for a little while, DD had strikes on a thomas bouyant near the hwy bridge.

We then headed up to Reverse Creek cabins and talked with David the owner about what's happening around the loop area, settled in our cabin and then launched for a afternoon session at Silver.

Marked plenty of fish but we could'nt catch a trout if our life depended on it :) lol, but we had fun and enjoyed the beautiful scenery:

Next day was to hit Crowley for trout but after numerous pinching of the barbs and all our lures which none of them worked, we ventured out to find the Sac Perch. After heading up to North arm we found some:

All fish were landed using shad raps 2-3.25", biggest was 12", most were 8-10".

Went back to cabin fillet and beer session and relaxed near the barby:

We did manage to land 1 rainbow trolling using crankbaits like the for the perch but it was 17" and
    released:

Had a couple of double hook ups and it was a fun weekend at Crowley:

On the way home, we stopped at Lone Pine creek off of Whitney Portal Road, and fished with sierra slammers
I lost a nice fish using the white swimjigs and a couple of followers but no joy on landing any.

We look forward on retuning next year.

Not sure if these pics will come thru, but it was a fun trip even though we'll miss the fall bite at Crowley. The cabins we stayed at has a nice cleaning station, glad we had 3 sharp fillet knives lol.
