Default Fishing hawaiian aweoweo big eyes at night!

Went fishing in the cold last night with my mentor Wayne Akagi. We were trying out soft 2in "glow blues" from Hawaii's Landon Yamamoto. These fish are nocturnal and are easier to catch at night. I had/have pneumonia but still went. After spinning around from dizzyness, twisted my knee, decided to stop being an avid fisherman & went to have a bowl of Wun Tun Min noodles at Zippy's Restaurant. Decided to put this together from last night's video with previous pics. This fish is great pan fried. The leather-like scales melt off. The oil turns orange/yellow from the oil. Meat comes off the center bone with ease. I save the oil, like Crisco, to fry eggs or pork chops in. Taste great! Sorry for the darkness, if i light up the area it'll scare away the fish were targeting.

Using a Fenwick 6'6" HMG Light Moderate-Fast Rod with a Shimano Stradic 3000 CI4 with Berkeley Trilene 4lb low viz green "soft cast" fishing line. 8ft leader is Sakura 4lb Fluorocarbon with a MZ9 standard hook "offset" using a 2in glow blue soft jig by Landon Yamamoto.

They're delicious pan fried! The micro scales "melt" off when subjected to heat.
