Today i decided to hit the reef to do some live baiting. Yesterday the King's Tide came in flooding parts of town. In a few days Hurricane Doug was expected to hit us full on. Fish can sense these types of natural disturbances but i still took the chance. So i hiked in an hour before sunrise to set-up. I threw out my rigs using frozen squid "ika". Then tried to hook some live bait (noticed i said tried).

I couldn't hook the desired species i wanted. So by noon i left for home. I got crispy fried from the UV direct, off the sand & water. The loose sand taxed me as well. But hopefully you'll enjoy my outing before Hurricane Doug hits us in a few days.
