(Preliminary and indirect report) 10/25 - Coroloma (Ventura)

So I got a txt message at 11:47am from my buddy, who ended up hopping on the 3/4 Coroloma out of Ventura, stating that he caught his limits :x I was busy working in front of the computer. Anyway, I ended up calling him to get the scoop after lunch and he said the fishing was really good. Sounds like the rocks they were catching were in the 2-5lb range on average. He actually intended to hop on the Erna-B out of PH but they canceled it. But Gail, at PH, was nice enough to get him onto the Coroloma which also ended up being a charter group waiting for 2 no shows. My buddy got lucky... I think he only paid $55 along with another one of our friends. I regret not having taken the day off today :x :x :x :evil: :roll: *sigh*

That's all I've heard from him. But seeing how he caught his limit halfway through the trip, not much more needs to be said :roll: :x

Yes you (and anyone else) are lucky fish on the weekdays unlike most of us. I guess I just have to wait until I retire to enjoy the solitude of fishing without having to worry about someone else's elbow pushing against me. Darn, that means I gotta wait 30 some more years from now. :bang:

Just need to save a little and make the right investments, marry a young energetic wife whose gonna be working when you retire... and hope your house don't catch on fire... sure you can retire in CA.

Coroloma is a great boat with a friendly crew. They catch fish when they go out.
