Lake Perris has anyone heard when they are gonna open it back up?
as of today gates are still closed till further notice
A guy who posts on this site has fished Perris a couple of times in last week or so. He, and another guy, park down the hill off off Moreno Beach and walked in and fished from shore. I posted a question, as to whether he saw any Rangers or lake personnel, and he said yes they did and they were real friendly!
they just announce on there facebook page today that gates are still closed till further notice

Just to clarify what that means to people who want to fish a Lake that say's gates closed. It's closed to boating and parking but not to fishing! I've been fishing the Orange County Regional parks for the last 2 weeks. They put up deceptive signs that say, "PARK CLOSED" at the entrance of the parks and the gates are locked! But it's perfectly fine, if you hike into the parks and maintain Social Distancing while your there!

This information is taken from the Lake Perris website:
There are no parking facilities for visitors, including for off-highway vehicles and recreational boats. State Parks discourages any activities which require travelling by vehicle to a destination.
Approved activities include:
Walking, hiking and biking (in parks with bike trails). Congregating for long periods of time is not allowed.
Fishing from banks or shores if visitors can walk in. It is important to note that State Parks prohibits the use of boats or vessels during this closure whether launched, moored or anchored.
Swimming, bodyboarding, scuba diving, snorkeling and other water-related activities.
Equestrian riding only if members of the public live near an equestrian trail. Trailers or trucks required for this activity are prohibited.
Rock climbing as long as you can hand carry your equipment into the park.
Walking dogs only in park units that allow dogs.
