Default Prepare to be amazed: something they don’t teach you in California

Ever heard of pencil drop shot weights that don’t get stuck in rocks because.. well... they’re pencil shaped?

now you can make all of your own weights. The weight you need them. The shape that doesn’t get suck.

Buy this crap on eBay or something. And watch this damn video.
you probably want some rubber gloves also, because lead is poisonous.

    here’s the video.
try this. You’ll thank me later. If you are fishing current you need this or modified forms of it.

if you have this you can almost replace all other forms of weight in your tackle
box. Because you can custom make your weights on the spot.

    Ps
ypu can use this to fashion any form of weight you need and you can buy the wire in several gauges solid or hollow.
I never saw anything like this until I fished steelies in Oregon.

    you’re welcome.

You can make pencil drop shot weights, c rig weights, split shot weights and pretty much any type of weight you want with this stuff.
the pliers are worth it. This brand is high quality. Several tools to shape the weights onboard.
think I’m sold. Just have to be careful to clean my hands regularly after using this or hope to find an unleaded version in the future.

The brand on the hollow lead wire is “Oregon tackle”
that may be why I’ve never seen it before. TIt could be special to this geographic location.

    hell,
I could take these spinner shafts and this hollow core weight ad create custom weighted spinner lures for steelhead, or bass, or custom weighted jig head hooks for paddle tails...

the list goes on and on.
once you understand you’ll find endless use for this.

    As a negative example...
in my last video “TJ TV EPISODE 5”
you’ll notice somebody used this hollow lead wire to wrap around a treble hook and use for a “snagging rig” to snag steelhead.

this wire has infinite uses. Kinda amazed, myself.
never been the snagging type. Always like a sporting chance myself. But it’s note-able.

Am I teaching people to snag fish? No.
    don’t be a loser. Don’t snag fish.
If you can’t catch fish without being a snagger, The TACKLEJUNKIE laughs and snorts in your general direction.
