Insane.
fishing Oregon in 35* in the forest on the thorny fern banks in the rain.
eating **** all over and feeling the pain.
Only way to explain it.
the last 4 days I put in serious work.
up and down several huge rivers.
after getting lost four times and refusing to give up..
i found the secret lake and hooked five cutties within five minutes of standing in the crystal clear water.
I was not able to catch a giant steelhead yet.
I have like two weeks left before the season closes.

tons of video footage you won’t believe. No time to stop and make videos now. I have two weeks left to get on one of these fish. I learned so much **** the last few days about Oregon coastal steelhead you guys wouldn’t believe it. I promise some footage explaining it all. I’m dragging cameras around with me everywhere.

The cutties are on video coming later.. after I catch a steelhead I’ll roll
them all into TJ TV episode IV if I make it out alive. I sleep in the snow quite a bit lately. Lol.

oddest thing ever how I bought a high speed ratio micro baitcaster right before my excursions into steelhead.
sure works well for fishing fast rivers!

now if I can just find a fish between all the elbow to elbow anglers and people illegally using bait...

You’ll want shovels and extra gas just in case. It’s 20 miles back in the cliffs and snow. You have to come up from Tillamook. All C&R
