    Default Parking questions

Haven’t been to Irvine since the old days. What’s the lining up
Situation like? I’m sure there is a line to get in the mornings.
After entering do you have to park and walk to your spot or can you drive up to the lake?
Thinking of heading out there Sunday for some action.

    Appreciate it!

Here's the deal! Drive in and park at the top of parking area right above the boat ramp. It opens at 6:00 am for parking and the gates open to fish at 6:30 am. It cost $5 to park and you use parking machines to get your permit. (use the one closet to the entry gate) You do have to walk to your spots. The best fishing for trout is on the West shore from the boat docks down 300 yards. The best techniques are bait and wait on the usual baits. Good Luck!
