Thread: Live Baiting My NEW 10' Nesika Rod!

  1. #1

Default Live Baiting My NEW 10' Nesika Rod!

Used A Live Baitfish After Hours of Using Frozen Ika "Squid" & Got A Bite Within Minutes!

I'm still using Okuma's new Nesika Surf Rods. I've now fished using the 9', 10' & 12'. If i found any negative aspects i would've reported it back to Okuma, Nothing negative to report. The large Bonefish i caught on the 12' model last month showed me this rod can handle a lot more then that fight. I love the balanced feel. Still need to catch something larger but this line wasn't made for large fish.

My next outing should be at night reef casting for nocturnal species. I still have other equipment to field test but i keep finding myself coming back to the Nesikas. Today was only a small Hammerhead Shark, not a worthy test subject. But it reinforced my objectivity that this is a smooth casting rod when mated with a Blue Azores 4K. The balanced feel coupled with the light weight puts this line of rods high on my arsenal.

    Model# Nesika 10ft NSK-S-1002MH

The Nesika Rods are great light shore casting rods for spin casting & shoreline bait angling.
