Hit the lake yesterday morning. Fished till a little after 2pm. Water temp 74.2+- and a slight wind came up mid morning. Headed over to Bernasconi and started fishing in 30' of water. Worked our way toward the shore with no luck. Fished the shore areas and out to 15-20' of water towards the east end. Started cashing fish in the trees in the east end with one around 4lbs. Around 10:30 ate some lunch and headed to the trench to check it our and fish the dam. There are buoys where the trench is that state no power boat. That kept us from going in and fishing the trench. Wondering is just the trolling motor was used in that area would that be legal? Not much luck at the dam. 3 small ones. 3/4 of the way down the dam we headed back to rock climbers cove to fish back to where we started. Picked up a few more fish and lost a good one on a texas rigged morning dawn. Ended the day with 21 fish hooked and 16 fish in the boat.

Lake appears to be a full pool.

What was the algae bloom like? Bowfisher it two weeks ago and it was pea soup. Makes it hard to shoot carp.

You should be good if you shut the big motor off and run on the trolling motor. Just check on the way in next time.

The water looked a heck of a lot better since they bluestoned the lake. We could see 5' or so. Weeds are gone.

Sailcove is no power boats period so you won't be good with the trolling motor. Not sure why you would need to go in there anyway. The trench is way out there in around 60+ feet now.
