back out yesterday ..... launched just before 9am and water temp was 67º, so 5º warmer than last week (the day after the little front came thru) ..... fishing was pretty good for quantity, but not so much for quality .... double digit catch, but nothing over 2 1/4# and several small studs .... fished around island and in the back of east end ..... fish were in 5' to 20' of water but usually up in the column in brush or trees ..... got most fish on Senkos, but a few split-shotting .... wonder if anyone got some bigger fish, perhaps dipping the trees with jigs or big worms ??? .... saw one guy throwing topwater.... finally, a word for the carp chasers -- saw a bunch of big carp swimming in the trees at the back of the east end where the water hit 75º.... not spawning, just cruising in big packs ...... good hunting, you guys .... btw, it's good to hear how others do ..... info helps everyone have more fun on the lake ....
