    Are you strictly trolling, cast & retrieve or mixing it up?
    If C & R, cast parallel to the docks, on the shade side, as well as boats with a build up of algea.
    Also, get in the habit of having a steady, continuous cadence.

    I've been trying both. It's been really slow in the slips. Multiple types of jigs and colors but still very little opportunity. I started using a dead rod and trolling with different swim or ned type motions. Also been trying a cast and slow retrieve while the water temp is still sub 60.

    Thanks for the tips, anything else you got I will be happy to try it out maybe next week
