    Default SARL 1/18-19 - Overnight Fishing/Camping Session

The rainstorms had finally cleared out and I was itching to go fishing this past weekend. Haven't gotten a chance to get a new fishing license for the year yet so I decided to pay a visit out to Santa Ana River Lakes. Did the overnight fishing/camping session which lets you fish from 5 PM to 4 PM the next day. Got there Friday evening and stayed the whole time. This is my third time out at Santa Ana River Lakes, I had gone before back in October (also doing the overnight fishing/camping) and gotten skunked.

But I came back with this two rainbow trout this time around. Both caught on Orange Powerbait.

There were a couple trout caught by other groups on both sides of me but overall seemed a little slow overall bite-wise while I was there.
