(pull his nomination) Before Judge Kavanaugh career is literally killed, in not just his nomination to the Supreme Court. But his current position as Judge on the appellate court. He could be looked on as perjuring himself to the committee, in denying the accusations coming from such a credible witness!

p.s. I watched the commentators on a break at Fox News. They couldn't spin it! They admitted the accuser (Ford) came off as a very credible witness. They also complained the hired gun the Republican Senator hired (to ask questions for them) wasn't tough enough on Mrs. Ford.

They said, the only hope for Judge Kavanaugh is to go on the offense, when he try's to re butt what Mrs. Ford said.

So someone can make unfounded allegations 36 years after the fact with no evidence and demands an investigation in order to roadblock a nomination and that is perfectly fine. What is telling is the stunt double for I threw momma from the train Feinstein latching onto the more absurd allegations that have since came out to justify for an FBI investigation because according to her that was further evidence. Let's be honest they are demanding an investigation to stretch this out to the midterm so that if they take the ssenate they can keep an empty seat for the next two years, this is not about chasing down a story that has no legs to start with but now that the dems have gotten their hands on it they've given it wings! The burden of proof is on the accuser not on the accused to disprove, that's faulty liberal logic Etucker. It's not guilty until proven innocent, you knew that right?

I learned something new today I didn't know. (insert joke now) It's about the burden of proof in the Senate confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh. We all know in a criminal case, "you are considered innocent till proven guilty." In the Senate confirmation hearing and voting, they the Senate must advise and give their consent to the nominee to be appointed to the Supreme court. It's not an criminal trial, where the accuser must prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt.

Well what does advise and consent really mean? (the standard) From some great legal minds I saw on TV, they gave their interpretation of advise and consent. They all agree there is "no standard" but it's up to each individual Senator to come up with their own conclusion of what that means.

So in this he said she said case, the Republican Senators said, the burden of proof is on the accuser. Which is correct! The Democrats said, the mere accusations coming from a credible witness (Mrs. Ford) makes Judge Kavanaugh ineligible to be elevated to the Supreme court. Which is also correct.

So it all comes down to if Judge Kavanaugh can get 50 votes in the Senate. It's going to be close. (It really depends on what the FBI finds) If it's inconclusive Judge Kavanaugh gets on the Supreme court. If something "BIG" comes out of it. He is toast!
