Drove up to Silverwoood Friday only to find the lake closed. Wish I could have communicated that to the other guys I saw driving up as I was driving down. Ended up at Diamond Valley (desperate for a day of fishing). The lake has a really bad algie bloom. Made a mess of my boat and trailer. Managed a personal; best in catfish though with a 9.5.
