    Default My report from Mammoth/Bishop

Just got back from Bishop/Mammoth area. We struggled to catch much at convict, we did have a lot of luck at Crowley because they just had put in 4000lbs, so we threw lures and jigged and hammered them. Went and did some stream fishing near Bishop (line street) and did pretty good. Went up top and did some more streams, but the water is flowing really heavy as you would expect. Tried the gorge, but the water is so high it puts you above the tree line so it's really tough to fish it now. I took a few shots with my drone from Convict, South Lake and Crowley

South Lake was about empty and the road was still closed at the peak of the hill, about a 15 foot wall of snow at the top of the hill. What water was in there was frozen

Had a ton of these guys come through our camp at Convict, afraid of absolutely nothing. At one point we counted 11 within 10 feet of us.

I/m using a Phantom 3 at the moment, I'll will upgrade to the Mavic once the new model comes out, it's supposed to have the same specs as the new Phantom 4 pro....I kind of like the fold up thing, easier to haul, the phantoms are kind of a struggle to have in your truck with people and fishing gear, someone pretty much has to hold in in their lap.

I just keep saying to my friends "watch my drone dude, watch my drone dude"
