Thread: Lake Casitas bite

    Default Lake Casitas bite

Lake Casitas cooled off from the crazy plastic bite post-spawn, but the shad are coming up and the fish are chasing them around. Ended up with 7 between me and my cousin. No dinks, all nice, solid fish with a couple of good kickers. Sorry, can't figure out how to rotate them.

Congrats on the nice catch. Wish I could make the drive to Casitas which takes me two hrs. in L.A. and 101 traffic. With the Quagga boat inspection process and the 35 day quarantine period guess I'll stick to our local lakes like Castaic, Silverwood, Perris and DVL.

BTW - In one photo I noticed a Humminbird portable fish finder on your rental boat seat. I just sold the same unit last year on Craigslist. It wasn't you by chance?
