    Default Fairmount Boat Launch.

I stopped by Fairmount Park today on my way home from Covina and was shocked to see this. Its a new little boat launch ramp and dock, wow that's kind of odd but a good thing I guess[/ATTACH]Click image for larger version.

    Wow.....

Wonder if we'll see any Rangers, Tritons, Nitros, or Skeeters working the banks at Fairmount Park. I'm guessing not.

Wait a minute.... while my first post was in jest, what exactly is the ramp for?? It doesn't look like the ramp can support a boat of any size (just judging from the pics). I looked over the city and park's websites, but didn't find anything in regards to the the new ramp.

So.....what's it for? Kayaks, canoes, float tubes?? Anything that floats??

The ramp is for small boats only, dingys, small sailboats, aluminum, kayaks, etc.. But no inflatables and trolling motors only. You have to get a permit from the city to be able to put a boat in the lake. There's actually two boat ramps at the park.

That park has no bass at all, if any... You definately don't want to launch any boats there. It sucks... ;-)
