Was camping with the family.. bla bla bla... Fished southwest shore near cleghorn, bass starting to bed but not defending very aggressively. A few tasters but no solid bites. Threw a 7" slim sluggo in purple/pearl out past the beds and stuck a nice 4lb girl.
After being frustrated by the green bass and finally getting one I decided to change targets and started tossing the trout glide bait. Not long after the wind picked up I see a big flash behind my bait.... keep reeling slow and feltcthe rod load up and start shaking:)
6 hours of fishing and 2 fish, but totally worth it.
