Thread: DVL water level site?

  1. #1

    Default DVL water level site?

Is there a website where you can get current DVL water levels?

    Thanks!

Every other water agency has some sort of website that shows water levels.

I'm still trying to find one for MWD.

    Still no luck.

Here is a link that shows acre feet. Diamond Valley = DMV. Lots of good information on most lakes in California on CDEC site.

I wish they posted the current level for both DVL and Skinner. It makes it hard to generate accurate social maps without it. I can find the level for just about every other lake in SoCal.

    Great link!

Now if we know what DVL's AF at full capacity is, that chart would be excellent.

Nice! That's a lot of liquid gold for MWD.

I guess it depends on what you want to do with the data. None of that helps with with determining the water level. What does 78% full tell you about the actual water level? Could be 5' down or 50' down.

based on the last elevation posted on the CDEC website and my elevation conversion spreadsheet DVL is at 1720' which is 36' from full pool.
