    Default Malibu leopard shark help

    Hello guys I'm new to saltwater fishing and targeting leopard sharks any advice will be greatly appreciated setup, bait, etc I will be fishing at night thanks in advance.

    Squid or perch pieces, dropper loop, circle hooks and a sufficient shock leader........mmmmm
    Pretty much covers it. Make sure you pay close attention to parking signs and keep a watchful eye over your shoulder. Better off fishing with a buddy so you two can watch each others backs. The whole beach area at night time can take a weird turn into the twilight zone so be careful.
    Generally speaking the Leos will start gathering in numbers around May.
