If both Hernandez and Van Slyke are on the team after the All Star Break, I'll be extremely disappointed.

...and now they have more home runs than Gonzales and Pederson.

Bring up Bellinger and replace Valenzuela in the booth with Gonzales, and boom...everyone wins.

I'm already hearing the yearly "We're-Bringing-Up-Urias" talk. Rich Hill's blisters....Maeda throwing batting practice.

    All's well in Dodgerland.

so, who gets sent down? Bellinger? Taylor?

or good by Utley... or maybe make him a bench coach?

quality problems at this point, no?

Get Gonzo on the 162 day DL, problem solved.

a baseball guru I know likens the Dodgers to the '14 Cubs... if that is the goal of the team then some tough decisions - in which sentimentality must be put aside - will have to be made, no?

So Gonzalez, welcome to being a coach.

    And Utley, you're next.

And there wasn't any sentiments in my decision making. Hopefully the front office has very little empathy like me.

Another big hit for Bellinger, loving the youth movement for years to come....lowest starting and bullpen era in the league. The West is ours again.

    via ESPN:

"Dodgers: 1B Adrian Gonzalez, placed on the DL on Friday with right elbow soreness, will be sidelined for as much time as it takes for him to return to 100 percent, manager Dave Roberts said. ..."

stall at 97% and then call it a career?

It's a weird situation for him. It's not like he can go the SVS route and get sent to Triple A. For Gonzo being sent down to Triple A is akin to Old Yeller being sent out back while Travis holds the shot gun.

Again, I don't care who you are, I'd want the current roster to reflect the best 25 guys who can help us win.

(Speaking of which, and I'm sure I'm gonna offend the Ravine's chola population, but Ethier needs to bounce. He's been on the 4 year DL.)
