Land of a thousand dinks

Went out Friday 10-21. Water is 72* Right to the inlet for an instant dink striper. OK I tie on my 6" gunfish to attract a bigger model. BAM! another dink. After hitting 8 or 10 6 inch stripers I went to another area. Started jerking my fly for more dinks. OK I tie up a 6 inch streamer and drop it down 6 colors..... Bam! another dink. I give up and go looking for LMB. Tie up a 40 size rat and hit the shorelines. 2 LMB boated but both are maybe 1 pound. The new weather patterns should stir things up, but for now its a great place to take little kids and Barbie poles.

Hey Bob! DVL means I'd have to quarantine my boat for too long. I had high hopes for today, but we got run off the lake by 8 am by a lightning storm. I had just found some fish too. Dang!
