What's up FNN,
Spiney lobster season kicked off just right for the Kolomona!
My brother Arthur (Wingnut) hits me up to go fishing and hoop netting for lobster with Ben (BadBeat) and Jeff (Webmaster) at Catalina Island last Sunday.
We met and launched from Long Beach around noon. Once we got to Catalina, we fished until it got dark.
We landed some bonitos. Which were perfect for lobster bait!!
At 6:30, we started baiting the nets and threw them over board to soak hoping to attract some bugs!!!
Roughly an hour passes by and we are eager to retrieve our nets. The fishing Gods blessed us that night because we pulled net after net full of lobster!!!
We managed to pull our limits of 28 bugs on our first round and got back to dock around 10 PM with smiles on our faces.
Thanks Jeff for another badass time on the waters!
Some photos are below and a video clip of our trip will be added by Jeff later.
