    Default Tubing the LAB

I went to Los Alamitos Bay for the second time today and I had a lot of fun. The first time out I got seriously skunked but I felt like my game was off and so I've been making adjustments. I've started using a flurocarbon leader for one and I think it's helping. However you slice it, I caught a few fish this time out and learned a couple of new launch sites. They don't officially open until 8:00am and I usually like to get an earlier start, but as the days get shorter it will be less of an issue and in the tube, it's more about the tides and the wind than anything else.

    Happy fishing!

That's a great video, very well produced, love the background info at the beginning! I also love that you didn't add a soundtrack to it -- I love hearing the sounds of fishing (the wind, drag peeling, fish splashing, etc...), makes me almost feel like I'm there!

You're welcome to use my video as you like! Thanks!

I love hearing the sounds of fishing...

Sound is a problem with sport cameras in waterproof housings, which is why it is often missing. In this case, I'm using the slotted back on the case which protects it from splashing, but is not actually submersible. I do, however, also have a small USB voice recorder that I can clip to my hat and record sound even with the camera in the full waterproof case.
