The limit also changes to 2 fish in possession ... per person ... and they must be 18 inches or bigger.

That's been the regs for many years at Crowley. The regs also change on the Upper Owens several times a season..

Ya we made it through ok. Only came within a mile and a half and on the other side of the freeway. We now wait for the Santa Ana winds that should begin to start near the end of next month. If we have a fire here during a Santa Ana wind I am afraid it's going to be game over. I have not seen it this dry on the hill the whole time we have lived here (1971). We have made preps though unlike many that live here.

I can just imagine the ash cloud in the first Santa Ana of the year. Hopefully there won't be any fires. They ever say what started this one?
