want to go fishing
want to go fishing but cant figure out where. live near silverwood,perris, d val, elsinore, and big bear. or MAYBE a regional. those places are expensive and scenery sucks. anyone have any ideas? i have 2 weeks to figure out where. possibly going up north to the sac river on the 25th. for chinooks. any info is much apreciated.
Big Bear. Free shore fishing, cooler temps, great scenery. Best trout fishery in So. Cal. Also largemouth, smallmouth, crappie, catfish, etc.

Yup big bear is a good place to fish. If you want to get your grandkids on fish up there use masa as bait you will get carp all day long on that bait.

No problem when you use the masa set it up with a egg sinker(same set up like trout) but with 6 lb line. You can also put no weight with a size 6 hook and cast it out the masa will be the weight.
