Thread: Fireworks on the Kolo before the 4th of July

Default Fireworks on the Kolo before the 4th of July

Arthur (Wingnut) and I were texting back and forth about a HUGE catch from our fishing brother in arms, Jonathan (ToadsToadsOnly). I can't wait for his report. We wanted to chase the tuna but conditions and the holiday weekend didn't seem ideal. We decided last minute to jump on to Jeff's (Webmaster) boat and launched out at 1AM to catch the elusive ghosts.

We picked up a scoop of live squid and off to the Santa Barbara Island we went. We ended up not picking off any white sea bass but we did end up with some great fishing. All 3 of us ended up picking up personal bests for different types of fish. There were some mishaps on my part but luckily it didn't cost any PB's .

It is always a pleasure to fish with Jeff and Arthur and thank you Jeff for going above and beyond to make our trip that much more spectacular.

Jeff will add a video later.

The YT bite slowed later in the morning, so we decided to do some Rock fishing.

    What's up Peter!
Man that water looked nice and flat and no other boats around.
Congrats to everyone on their new PB's.
We need to discuss your gaff, or lack of, young man.
Those were some nice sized YT and I'm sure they tasted delicious.
    Thanks for sharing Brother,
    Robert
