what part of sherwood were you fishing because it seems like the areas i like to fish were covered with weeds. btw how was your trip to alaska?

The lake changes constantly. I usually only fish weedless style baits there for that reason. If i find a patch of water with less weeds, I usually throw a shad like crankbait. My trip to alaska in June was pretty amazing, lots of king salmon. I went back at the end of july and beginning of august. It was an absolute blast caught so many sockeye and some silvers. Videos are going to be coming out soon for that.

Nice report, I'm new to this area living in thousand oaks now trying to get some fishing in have a new baby and can't make it out with the boat trying to get out and catch some green ones locally, message me if anyone's interested in getting together to fish
