Thread: Battery for your tube fish finder?

  1. #1

Default Battery for your tube fish finder?

What battery options do you guys recommend for a fissfinder on tube? Any lithium ion or Li-Po battery solutions as they are probably lighter than lead cells?

    Thanks for any help.

I tried out an 11.1 3000, worked fine. Little scary. Kept picturing a hook piercing it and going up in flames. Had it in a lipo sack too. Float tube fanatics is what I'm using now.

Pretty much the opposite of what you asked for but it works great for me as I need serious juice. I'm running the Raymarine Wi-Fish sounder and with their app on the iPad as well as the Navionics app - both great products IMHO. Six hours on the water is no problem.

10AH SLA battery in a Pelican 1120 case. Waterproof and extremely durable.
