Default Crowley Lake and pmid wrap up

Fishing has been very good at Crowley when the weather is good. Double digit days and the sizes are really good. Browns, Bows and Cuttys all on the chew. Been out in my tube the last few trips which has been super fun.

Here's a beauty cutty... these are the same strain of Cuttys that are in pyramid lake

    and speaking of pyramid....

I had the chance twice this winter to get up there and the fishing was amazing got my personal best Cutty of 16lbs. we had over 20 fish days on both trips.

    Here are some pics.

    fishing from the ladders

    my 14lb

    my 16lb....

All fish released to grow bigger and fight another day.

Unbelievable! Those are fish of a lifetime, thanks for sharing your experiences. Pyramid is quite a haul, but well worth it obviously. That's a "bucket list" lake for me.

dude those are some massive lahotans, man nice job. I have never made a trip there but have always wanted to. That looks like some work to do the wading and the ladder fishing, looks like it pays off.

Just out of curiosity, do the fish at Pyramind hit on lures, rubber baits, etc. What time of year is good to go there? I see you're wrapped up pretty good. Cool fish!

Yes they you can catch them on lures and probably rubber baits. Plenty of people troll the lake. This is a winter fishery. Best months are Feb-April.
