Thread: Float Tube Bass Fishing with GB: Video and Photos, Great Trip

  1. Default Float Tube Bass Fishing with GB: Video and Photos, Great Trip

This report is a little dated, finally got the photos uploaded.

GhettoBasser and I hit up an old favorite bass fishing spot in the IE. Haven't brushed my float tube off in over a year, glad to get out on the water again (and with minimal leaks!).

The bass were not as cooperative this time, but we still managed to land about 10 between us. Soft plastics, dark, weedless, did the trick. Most were fly-lined. Water looked really stained, but visibility was still about 2-3 feet.

Sunny, hot weather helped as we weren't in waders in the float tubes (water brrr). Only had one fish throw the hook this time, unlike last year where my loose reel led to multiple lost fish.

Highlight of the trip was the really chunky monster of a bass that inhaled the worm and gave a nice multi-leap performance.

All in all, a fun trip. Big thanks to GB for making it happen!
