Anyone Fished Taiwan?

Anyone fished in Taiwan? Will be going in the future, looking forward to some exotic fishing opportunities. And food.

Yes, I have, but back in 2011. I posted about it here at the time. We caught mostly small Tilapia, but also a few other species, all small, fishing from shore at Sun-Moon lake and around Kaohsiung City. I am sure there is better fishing in Taiwan or offshore, but we had lots of other stuff to do as it was. We liked Sun-Moon Lake and Lotus Lake quite a lot anyway.

Thanks Lefty. We checked out Sun Moon Lake, spotted several folks fishing and a few boils, but didn't get the chance to fish.

I did try fishing at Green Island, had a needlefish chase my lure but nothing stuck. The snorkeling was great though!
