Default Lake Cachuma Shore Fishing 5/7/2016

    Hey Guys,

Headed up to Cachuma for some after finals action. Hit the coastline by the dam because I know there are both bass and trout in that direction. However we only got one bite on a spinnerbait all of those bass were just spawned and not super active. So I decided to make a 3 mile hike into an area where I knew was steep but fishable. We got 8 total bites 7 bass and 1 trout. Tough landing the bigger ones because of the steep dropoff. Fished the dropshot again, and a trout bit a roboworm which I have never seen before. Trout seemed to be active.
