Thread: My first WSB

  1. #1

    Default My first WSB

Looking at the bouys and the water is 64 degrees, that and with the bait in the water I left the house long before daylight on a mission. 2 years trying and yet to catch a WSB, well today was the day. Using the LC in sardine on the third cast I hooked this. Checked my drag twice because I thought it was too loose, these things can burn some line off the reel. Was out of the water for less than a minute released healthy and happy.........Verne

Just under 23", not a monster but another for my species list. (now if I can just catch a walleye perch)

Great job V...... The juvies can be really high spirited. I've been on a bite of juvies before when they were jumpers like darn trout. I'm kinda feeling that the next WSB hookup for you is gonna be a Big Girl...It's that time of year brotha!
