    These fish are my favorite! 7 to 9 inch (let the big ones go) boneless 'Gill fillets are great for tacos or with rice. Dust with flour and salt and pepper and fry. Fry up some fritters or hash browns to have with this fish.

    They're as tasty as fish gets...and in my world, 7 to 9 inch bluegills are the big ones! I've filleted smaller ones than that...

    Looks tasty but never cooked one, I like trout and catfish cooked on the barbeque grill I must try it. Do redear taste the same as gills.
