Default 4/20/16 DVL LMB and Ramp Report

The water is touching the bottom of the last ramp slab. Below that is small chunk rock.
The water is way up. The lake is going to be a flipping Mecca. Frogs and rodents too. Newly submerged brush, trees, etc EVERYWHERE! 2 of the 4 eastern lake islands are on their way under.

Fished the afternoon hoping for a reaction bite. Not much going on with that right now. Thumped on a square bill once. Nothing on big beautiful mud lines created by the wind coming into a dam or cove. Don't think anything is totally past the post spawn lull yet. Worked some long stretches of windy shorelines. Fish here and there. Nothing in full blown feed mode just yet. Have a feeling a deeper crank bite may be on in the current on island edges, but the rental troller was not strong enough.

Got fish on finesse TR and large TR creature bait. Points and back pockets. Shady out of the wind nooks and crannies. Conditions for summer will be epic. Can't wait. Fall topwater, hells yeahs!
