Little Lake (Angler Lake)

Went to Little Lake today with son, this lake use to be a popular lake called Angler Lake many years ago.
When it was Angler Lake it use to get packed with fisherman, it was a pay lake like Corona Lake but
had no fish limit. On some days I saw people catch 45 trout in one day.

Now its a public lake with the normal 5 fish limit. We arrived at seven in morning and left at eleven.
We caught eight small trout all together.
My son caught three on a Thomas Buoyant,
I caught two on mice tails,
and we got three on rainbow power bait.
Overall it was a good day fishing.

How did you rig the mice tails, if you don't mid me asking? Carolina rig?

Carolina rig with 2lb test line liter, water was not clear so
the liter didn't have to be too long, bubble gum color mice tails,

Loved his lake back in the day! I fished it with my grandpa for cats and trout when it was private. Never did great on cats, but trout used to go OFF! They'd have tagged fish events etc. It was a fun little place!
