Fished from shore next to the jetty early in the afternoon and managed to pull in 6 plastic bags in an hour....no nibbles from fish. The water was muddy and full of trash and a little salad. Got frustrated and went home with the skunk. I was trying out my new Shimano Cardiff. It casts well...still want to see how it does retrieving a fish.

Going out early tomorrow to Cherry Beach to try for some Halis....any suggestions on rigs would be appreciated.

what kinda rig were u using?

I was throwing out a 16 wheeler....j/k (rig)

i was using a 4" sardine color swimbait on a 1/2oz leadhead
and a then switched to Kroc in silver and blue
through out some camo gulp worms on a sliding rig for nada.


Good luck. I have little shore fishing experience but am willing to learn and give it a go.
